Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure solutions with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Optimize cloud costs while scaling microservices architectures
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud security best practices
- Collaborate with product teams on infrastructure-as-code initiatives
- Drive Kubernetes orchestration and containerization strategies
- Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools
- Strong background in microservices architecture
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python/Go/Bash)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Relocation flexibility to Laredo, TX required
