Responsibilities
- Architect scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for municipal clients
- Mentor 5+ engineers while setting technical vision and standards
- Lead agile development sprints and deliver production-ready code
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Optimize system performance and implement robust security protocols
- Drive innovation through emerging tech evaluation (AI/ML/IoT)
- Present technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years software development with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in AWS/GCP, Python, and container orchestration
- Proven track record delivering large-scale cloud-native projects
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with municipal/government tech projects preferred
- CISSP or AWS Solutions Architect certification a plus
