Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (lettuce, spinach, melons) following quality standards
- Operate irrigation systems and perform field maintenance tasks
- Apply pest control measures safely and responsibly
- Assist with planting, transplanting, and crop monitoring
- Maintain field cleanliness and safety protocols
- Participate in pre-harvest inspections and quality control
- Adhere to H2A program regulations and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility (foreign worker)
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience required
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity, dust)
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
- Valid driver's license (preferred for equipment operation)
- Clean background check and drug test clearance
