Responsibilities
- Harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, grapes, almonds) using manual and mechanical techniques
- Operate farm equipment including tractors, forklifts, and irrigation systems
- Maintain crop quality through sorting and packing procedures
- Adhere to safety protocols and sustainable farming practices
- Document daily harvest activities and report equipment issues
- Assist with field preparation and post-harvest cleanup
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity, dust)
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical stamina for manual labor (8-10 hour shifts)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
