Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (cotton, chili peppers, melons) using precision techniques
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, irrigation systems) with safety protocols
- Maintain crop quality through sorting and quality control inspections
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides following EPA guidelines
- Assist in greenhouse operations and seedling propagation
- Participate in sustainable farming practices and soil management
- Document daily production and maintenance activities
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions (heat, dust)
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
- Valid driver's license for equipment operation
- Ability to work flexible shifts (early mornings, weekends)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- USDA pesticide certification preferred
