Responsibilities
- Harvest seasonal crops (corn, soybeans, vegetables) using manual and mechanical methods
- Operate farm equipment safely and efficiently (tractors, harvesters)
- Plant, irrigate, and maintain crop fields according to schedules
- Inspect produce for quality and sort by grade standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Maintain accurate field records and daily progress reports
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 3 months prior agricultural/farm experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including early mornings/weekends
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Commitment to 6-month seasonal contract duration
