Responsibilities
- Operate Farm Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural equipment.
- Crop Cultivation: Participate in planting, weeding, and maintaining crop health according to agricultural standards.
- Harvesting: Collect and prepare produce for distribution, ensuring quality control and timely delivery.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools, machinery, and work areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with a diverse team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship or hold a valid work authorization in the US.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in agriculture, landscaping, or manual labor is preferred but not always required.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible shifts, including early mornings and weekends, during peak season.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills required to understand instructions and safety briefings.
- Documents: Valid government-issued ID and social security card.
