Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack citrus fruits and seasonal vegetables according to quality standards
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following strict safety protocols
- Maintain farm equipment and assist with general field maintenance
- Adhere to GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) and food safety guidelines
- Participate in crop planting, pruning, and cultivation activities
- Work efficiently in varying weather conditions to meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of documented farm experience or equivalent training
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license preferred (farm equipment operation)
- Basic English communication skills (Spanish speakers encouraged to apply)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and early mornings
- Pass background check and drug screening as required
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship (foreign nationals only)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in all weather conditions
