Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest premium leafy greens and strawberries using precision farming techniques
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems safely
- Perform crop maintenance tasks including pruning, thinning, and pest management
- Monitor crop health and report issues to farm supervisors promptly
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and GAP standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
- Collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced field environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable farm labor experience in crop production
- Physical ability to work 8+ hours daily in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (tractor operation experience a plus)
- Basic English communication skills (Spanish speakers welcome)
- Willingness to relocate to Salinas, CA for the season (June-December)
- No prior visa sponsorship required (we manage entire H2A process)
- Clean background check and drug test required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
