Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers) according to quality standards
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Maintain field cleanliness and proper crop handling protocols
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety guidelines and EPA regulations
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and field maintenance activities
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety training sessions
- Adhere to all H2A program requirements and company policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of documented agricultural work experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Willingness to relocate to Miami, FL for the seasonal period
- Clean background check and drug test clearance
