Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, and row crops)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Maintain field hygiene through proper crop handling and sanitation practices
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues to supervisors
- Assist with irrigation system setup, maintenance, and water management
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Participate in pre/post-harvest processing activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of commercial farming experience
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (farm equipment operation)
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- No prior immigration violations
- Willingness to undergo background check
- Proof of eligibility for H2A sponsorship
