Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Document patient information accurately and timely in the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing)
- Passing NCLEX-RN exam or eligible to take the exam (new graduates welcome)
- Valid nursing license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain one
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
