Responsibilities
- Assist end-users with hardware and software troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Monitor system performance and respond to tickets in a timely manner using our helpdesk software.
- Maintain and update inventory of IT equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and availability.
- Learn and assist in the configuration of local area networks (LAN) and wireless networks.
- Collaborate with the senior team to implement security protocols and perform regular system backups.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating technical concepts to non-technical staff clearly.
- Participate in weekly training sessions to stay updated on the latest industry trends and software updates.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy with a strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues simply.
- A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced office setting.
- Reliable transportation is required for occasional on-site client visits.
