Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and chat
- Deploy and configure desktop/laptop systems including OS installation and software setup
- Document IT procedures and maintain accurate incident tracking records
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network security protocols and system updates
- Assist with onboarding new employees including workstation setup and account creation
- Participate in cross-departmental IT projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose technical problems logically
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and customer service mindset
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional site visits
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
