Responsibilities
- Technical Assistance: Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems, diagnosing hardware and software issues.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, peripherals, and network connections.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions and provide documentation to help users understand new technologies and resolve common issues independently.
- Network Support: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity problems to ensure seamless business operations.
- Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and equipment repairs.
- Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing data security policies and ensuring that all systems are up to date with the latest security patches.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we value potential and aptitude over past history.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite; willingness to learn new operating systems and software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Problem Solving: Strong logical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Corpus Christi, TX, if not already residing in the area.
