Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery as required by certification.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments to ensure accurate inventory levels and proper organization.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders accurately by picking items from the warehouse floor and preparing them for shipment.
- Quality Control: Perform routine inspections of products to ensure they meet company standards and are free of defects.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist in keeping the warehouse organized, clean, and free of obstructions to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk extensively, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting stock and preparing orders.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
