Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems and HMI interfaces.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on automated production machinery and robotics.
- Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automation upgrades and process improvements.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations on the factory floor.
- Document all repairs, maintenance logs, and technical data accurately.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial control systems, electrical maintenance, or instrumentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent PLC systems.
- Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
- Familiarity with industrial networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet) is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours, including overtime.
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent trade school certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments, including elevated areas.
