Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to established schedules.
- Operate agricultural machinery and equipment safely and efficiently under direct supervision.
- Maintain field cleanliness by removing debris and ensuring proper drainage systems are functional.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and workplace regulations to prevent accidents.
- Assist in irrigation management and water application tasks.
- Collaborate with the farm crew to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility or ability to obtain sponsorship.
- Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous outdoor labor for long shifts.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and humidity.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must have reliable transportation to the worksite.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new agricultural techniques.
