Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms optimized for AI workloads
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Translate theoretical models into scalable prototypes using Qiskit and Cirq
- Collaborate with bioinformatics teams on quantum-accelerated genomic analysis
- Drive commercialization of quantum machine learning applications
- Mentor PhD researchers and secure government innovation grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in quantum algorithm development with published papers
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and error correction techniques
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy challenges and 2026 roadmap
- Track record of securing DARPA/NSF grants
- Experience with tensor network simulations and quantum-classical hybrid systems
