Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for 2026 product roadmap
- Conduct algorithmic audits for bias, fairness, and transparency across ML models
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams with ethical guidelines
- Author impact assessments for high-stakes AI deployments (healthcare, finance, autonomous systems)
- Establish governance committees for ethical AI decision-making processes
- Represent the company at international AI ethics forums and policy discussions
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI/ML with proven ethics governance experience
- Expertise in bias detection techniques for deep learning models
- Published work on AI ethics or policy (academic papers, industry whitepapers)
- Familiarity with EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and other emerging regulations
- Strong background in participatory design methodologies with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with LLM alignment techniques and reinforcement learning from human feedback
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
