Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI models for bias, transparency, and compliance
- Develop governance policies for human-AI collaboration in high-stakes industries
- Represent the company in global AI ethics forums and regulatory discussions
- Create educational programs for teams on responsible AI development practices
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical considerations into AI lifecycle
- Monitor emerging AI legislation and adapt governance strategies proactively
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and other regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record of developing AI ethics policies for deployed systems
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong background in machine learning model auditing and bias mitigation
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (tech, legal, social sciences)
- Published research on AI ethics or related policy topics preferred
