Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive ethical guardrails for autonomous agents and AGI systems.
- Conduct rigorous impact assessments on emerging technologies to mitigate bias and ensure fairness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate ethical considerations into the core development lifecycle.
- Advise executive leadership and the board on the long-term societal implications of our technological trajectory.
- Develop frameworks for transparency, accountability, and explainability in algorithmic decision-making.
- Establish industry-leading standards for AI safety and human-AI collaboration.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computational Philosophy, Ethics, Applied Ethics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI safety, alignment research, or high-level technical strategy within the tech industry.
- Deep understanding of machine learning architectures, large language models, and their potential vulnerabilities.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex philosophical concepts into actionable, technical engineering requirements.
- Proven track record of influencing policy and technical direction in a large-scale, fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
