Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and irrigation systems
- Maintain crop quality through sorting and packing procedures
- Adhere to strict food safety and USDA compliance standards
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
- Work in all weather conditions including heat and humidity
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa documentation or eligibility for sponsorship
- Minimum 1 year commercial agriculture experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic English communication skills
- Flexible schedule including weekend and evening shifts
- Experience with greenhouse or row crop production
- Clean driving record (if operating equipment)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical examination
