Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, weeding, and harvesting agricultural products.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (tractors, loaders, harvesters) safely and efficiently.
- Monitor crop health and identify potential pest or disease issues for early intervention.
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for all crew members.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of crops.
- Collaborate with the farm crew to meet seasonal production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to quality control standards to ensure only the best produce reaches the market.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid H2A Visa (or be eligible for sponsorship).
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or labor-intensive outdoor work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic English proficiency for effective communication and understanding of safety instructions.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adhere to a flexible, seasonal schedule.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
