Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, nuts)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Perform field maintenance tasks including weeding, pruning, and pest control
- Inspect crops for quality and readiness for harvest
- Assist in packing and sorting produce according to standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and sustainable farming practices
Qualifications
- No prior agricultural experience required
- Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic English communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Reliable transportation to worksite (parking provided)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
