Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (berries, vegetables, greenhouse plants)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Perform crop maintenance tasks including pruning, weeding, and pest management
- Adhere to strict organic farming standards and food safety protocols
- Assist in packing, sorting, and preparing produce for market distribution
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities daily
- Work efficiently in all weather conditions with strict safety compliance
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship (prior H2A experience preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable agricultural experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting 50+ lbs, bending, standing)
- Valid driver's license and basic machinery operation skills
- Basic English communication skills required
- Willingness to work 45-60 hour weeks during peak season
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to farm location
