Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and harvesters (training provided)
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues
- Maintain farm cleanliness and equipment sanitation
- Sort and pack produce according to quality standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and farm regulations
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams
- Participate in seasonal crop rotations as needed
Qualifications
- No prior agriculture experience required
- Valid passport and H2A visa eligibility
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical stamina for manual labor (standing/walking 8+ hours)
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Team player with positive attitude
- Reliable transportation to Indianapolis work site
