Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest premium crops including lettuce, melons, and peppers
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Inspect crops for quality and readiness according to USDA standards
- Maintain field sanitation and implement pest control measures
- Assist in packing and sorting operations at on-site facilities
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
- Participate in team-based harvesting operations during peak season
Qualifications
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in extreme heat conditions (up to 110°F)
- Willingness to work 6-12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and operate farm equipment
