Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, fruits, grains)
- Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers according to safety protocols
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution
- Monitor crop health and report irrigation/pest issues
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment
- Adhere to all H2A program requirements and safety standards
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility (citizen of designated country)
- Minimum 1 year agricultural experience or equivalent training
- Ability to perform physical tasks in extreme weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license (for equipment operation)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work 6-7 days/week during peak seasons
