Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) for crop cultivation and harvesting
- Perform manual labor including planting, weeding, pruning, and irrigation maintenance
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues to farm supervisors
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and USDA quality standards
- Assist with post-harvest processing and packing operations
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities cleanliness
- Collaborate with diverse H2A team members under supervision
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required (must be outside US)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable farm labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic English communication skills (bilingual Spanish preferred)
- Flexible schedule including weekends and early mornings
- Valid driver's license (for equipment operation)
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical exam
- Reliable transportation to Memphis worksite
