Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (corn, soybeans, tomatoes)
- Inspect crops for quality and disease; implement pest control measures
- Maintain farm facilities and equipment through daily cleaning and minor repairs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Assist with packing, sorting, and loading harvested produce
- Participate in irrigation system maintenance and field drainage management
Qualifications
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to apply through our sponsorship program
- Minimum 1 year prior agricultural/farm experience required
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime during peak seasons
