Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including tomatoes, peppers, and okra
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper safety protocols
- Monitor crop health and apply integrated pest management techniques
- Perform irrigation system maintenance and water management
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution according to quality standards
- Maintain farm cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations
- Assist in greenhouse operations and seedling propagation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of commercial agriculture experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (farm equipment operation)
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
- Eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship (foreign national requirement)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and bend/stoop for extended periods
