Responsibilities
- Perform manual harvesting of various crops (grapes, almonds, tomatoes) using proper techniques
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, forklifts, and irrigation systems
- Inspect crops for quality and report pest/disease issues to supervisors
- Maintain field cleanliness and organize harvested produce according to standards
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers under strict safety protocols
- Assist with planting, pruning, and general field maintenance tasks
- Participate in safety briefings and follow all farm regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of commercial farming experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (farm equipment operation)
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions
- Availability to work 10-12 hour days, 6 days/week during peak season
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
