Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest a variety of seasonal crops using manual and mechanized methods.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, tractors, and hand tools safely.
- Inspect fields for pests, diseases, and weed growth to ensure optimal crop health.
- Load harvested produce onto trucks or wagons for transport to storage or packing houses.
- Perform general farm maintenance, including cleaning work areas and repairing fences.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and supervisor instructions strictly.
- Work in various weather conditions including heat, rain, and humidity.
Qualifications
- Valid H2A Visa or eligibility to obtain one (preferred).
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic English comprehension skills for safety and communication.
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or farm labor is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the farm.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new techniques.
