Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, strawberries, peppers)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and harvesters
- Maintain crop quality through proper handling and sorting
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides according to safety protocols
- Perform irrigation system maintenance and field inspections
- Adhere to FDA and GAP compliance standards
- Assist with packing and loading produce for distribution
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa or eligibility for sponsorship
- Minimum 1 year verifiable farm experience
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity)
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work 40+ hours/week including weekends
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
- Willingness to relocate temporarily to Tampa, FL
