Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (tomatoes, strawberries, peppers) according to quality standards
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) safely
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers under EPA guidelines
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues
- Maintain irrigation systems and field sanitation
- Adhere to OSHA and USDA safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa status or willingness to obtain sponsorship
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity)
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Documentation proving eligibility for H2A program
