Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (grapes, almonds, tomatoes) according to quality standards
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and irrigation systems
- Maintain field cleanliness and crop health through proper pruning and pest control
- Assist with planting and transplanting activities as scheduled
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Participate in team training sessions for new equipment and techniques
- Report crop conditions and equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to obtain sponsorship
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience
- Ability to work 10-hour days in outdoor conditions (heat, dust)
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to work weekends during peak harvest periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
