Responsibilities
- Harvest seasonal crops (chiles, onions, corn) using efficient techniques
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper safety protocols
- Sort and pack produce according to quality standards
- Maintain field hygiene and equipment cleanliness
- Adhere to all H2A program regulations and farm policies
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize harvest schedules
- Report crop conditions and equipment issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to obtain sponsorship
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience
- Ability to work 40-50 hours weekly in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical stamina for bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and standing
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to relocate to Albuquerque area
- Pass background check and drug screening
