Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including vegetables and fruits
- Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and apply integrated pest management techniques
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards
- Assist with packing, sorting, and loading of harvested produce
- Maintain farm facilities and ensure proper sanitation
- Participate in training sessions for new agricultural technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of documented agricultural or farm work experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship
- Willingness to relocate temporarily to Philadelphia area
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
