Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and apply integrated pest management techniques
- Maintain farm facilities and equipment through daily inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
- Assist with packing, sorting, and loading harvested produce
- Participate in mandatory safety training and team meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verifiable agricultural experience
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa program
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work 40+ hours weekly including weekends
- Willingness to relocate to Atlanta area for contract duration
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
- Experience with crop-specific farming equipment preferred
