Responsibilities
- Perform manual crop harvesting (fruits, vegetables, nuts) using proper techniques
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for shipment
- Maintain field cleanliness and equipment maintenance
- Adhere to all USDA safety and quality standards
- Assist with planting and field maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of commercial farming experience required
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts in varying weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to Fresno area for duration of contract
- Clean background check and drug test required
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship
