Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, cotton, soybeans)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and harvesters with proper training
- Maintain irrigation systems and field equipment
- Inspect crops for quality and disease prevention
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and EPA guidelines
- Assist in packing and loading harvested produce
- Work in all weather conditions including extreme heat
- Participate in team-based farming operations
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A Visa sponsorship (US Embassy approval required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work 6-day weeks (60+ hours) during peak season
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid passport and clean criminal record
- Agricultural experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical examination
- Reliable transportation to farm location
