Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, okra)
- Operate farm machinery with proper training
- Maintain field sanitation and crop quality standards
- Assist with irrigation system monitoring
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Participate in team-based production schedules
- Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa status or eligibility
- Minimum 6 months agricultural experience
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Willingness to relocate to New Orleans area
- Valid driver's license preferred
