Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor duties including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops (corn, soybeans, and dairy operations).
- Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment under the supervision of a certified operator.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on tractors, tools, and irrigation systems.
- Load and unload harvested produce onto trucks for transport to storage or processing facilities.
- Follow strict safety protocols and environmental regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
- Collaborate with crew leads to maintain efficient workflow during peak harvest seasons.
- Perform general farm maintenance, including fencing and cleaning of equipment areas.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship or possess valid US work authorization.
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor for 10-12 hour days in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays during harvest seasons.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate farm equipment safely.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
