Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops including strawberries, tomatoes, and peppers
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and irrigation systems
- Maintain crop health through pest control and fertilization
- Adhere to USDA and FDA safety protocols
- Assist in greenhouse management and seedling propagation
- Participate in team training for new farming techniques
- Report crop quality and yield data to farm supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa or eligibility for sponsorship
- Minimum 2 years commercial farming experience
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat (10-hour shifts)
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to relocate to St. Petersburg area
- Pass background check and drug screening
