Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest high-value crops (vegetables, fruits, and herbs)
- Implement integrated pest management and organic farming techniques
- Monitor crop health and quality control throughout growth cycles
- Adhere to strict food safety and regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in greenhouse and field maintenance activities
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize yield and efficiency
- Document daily farming activities and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility and documentation
- Minimum 2 years of commercial farming experience
- Ability to operate heavy farm machinery safely
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic understanding of irrigation and pest control systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
