Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops (vegetables, fruits, grains)
- Maintain farm facilities and equipment with routine inspections
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols
- Monitor crop health and report issues to farm supervisors
- Assist with packing, sorting, and loading harvested produce
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to participate in H2A program
- Minimum 1 year of prior agricultural experience
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical stamina for manual labor and long hours
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to relocate to Virginia Beach area
