Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (corn, soybeans, tobacco)
- Monitor crop health and implement pest control measures
- Perform field maintenance tasks including irrigation and soil preparation
- Adhere to safety protocols and H2A program compliance standards
- Assist with packing and processing harvested produce
- Participate in team-based farming operations
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum 6 months of agricultural/farming experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Willingness to relocate to Louisville area for duration of contract
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
