Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including corn, soybeans, and vegetables
- Operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Perform crop monitoring and pest control tasks following safety protocols
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution according to quality standards
- Maintain farm facilities and equipment through routine inspections and minor repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and production targets
- Document daily activities and report equipment issues or crop concerns
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa program or possess valid US work authorization
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of agricultural practices and farm equipment operation
- Previous farming experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to farm location
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
