Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends (2025-2027 horizon) and deliver strategic whitepapers on AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making algorithms
- Secure $2M+ in R&D funding through grant writing and investor pitches
- Present at Davos, CES, and other high-impact industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Publish thought leadership in MIT Tech Review and Wired
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or Futurist Studies with 10+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record of scaling exponential technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep understanding of Singularity University principles and Long-Term Institute frameworks
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Portfolio of published 2020s tech predictions with >85% accuracy
- Experience securing federal DARPA/NASA grants for future-tech initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
